It's great. Very different from the Maserati. I won't say better at all but certainly on a par.

Got some niggles to sort out (mostly electrical) so it's off to a local independent next week but in the limited miles I've done it's a great thing.
Stupidly quick. Epic brakes. Sounds 'OK' in Sport mode ;)

That's the Great thing with Cars that cost a fortune when new that now you can pick up for sensible money.
For me I'm glad I ticked off the Ferrari itch when I did and would like to try a Bentley long term after driving one.

Yes, it was about scratching that itch. I love the idea of an Aston, but the DB9 left me underwhelmedn. Not sure about Ferraris, but a Lambo.... now that really would be something :D

If we are still talking leather then yes, just don’t apply the same level of heat to the non leather, PVC wrapped parts.
Only have a bigger heat gun so will try it out on scrap seats from the Rover. That little gun runs at 200 degrees so think mine might work okay on lower setting.

Mine's 300W. Not measured the temp yet but happy to give it a punt if anyone wants me to
