Hi! I want my GS to sound louder than ****. I have the Benny D x-pipe but the improvement was very little.

I’d like to sound similar (volume and tone) to a F430, will i get it??

Get a different engine then, ones flat plain and the other is cross plain.

If you want more noise you need to de-cat, gut the rear boxes. That should do it.

Larini rear boxes will do that . Or put some straight through tips on the back and get rid of the boxes . I have two Y tips and an H pipe on mine . You ll get loads of volume . Your X pipe will give you a Ferrari like scream . Any exhaust place should be able to fit some tips for you for very little money .

On a seperate note I'm after some (secondary cat delete / squishpipe) two bolt flange pipes for my GS if anyone is selling .

For decent noise without being like all coke-can Subaru you reckon X-pipe and no rear boxes best for a QP5?

I suspect it would have to be decently loud externally, given the sound insulation and double glazing on the QP, I just want to hear it while driving with the windows up. At the moment with radio off it's pretty silent apart from tyre roar...

PS not bothered about neighbours, one of them has a pink Audi....

All the noise on the 4200 is held back at the secondary cats/squish pipe. Remove that and gut your existing rear boxes, that is the best sounding GS in my books.

Benny will do the GS rear box work for about £150.

I'll 2nd that....exactly what I have with secondary CAT delete sections but no rear boxes and straight pipes in place of rear boxes.
