Pity it's not based on the two wheel drive one though...now that would have been a animal.
I think the tie up between Maserati and Alfa (if Fiat don't sell off Alfa to the VAG) could produce the Alfa to fit what we are after. Ok, its not going to be a V8, Alfas positioning is a revy V6 but they are using turbo technology, so a light weight, RWD, 4 seater coupe might not be unrealistic. I think the GS got a little too close for Ferrari comfort, hence the more GT/Executive market Maserati seem to be pursuing.
