Always use Kwik Fit in Caterham - I have known the manager Paul for years and trust him.
Last year a well recommended indie took the masser and had its 4 wheel tracking done (not on his premises but...) car came back with top wishbone bolt UNDONE!!!! I didn't notice until after a 30 mile drive home on the motorway.

kwik fit are bozo's, you're playing Russian Roulette with your Maserati's. If you want dented/scored rims and possible damaged bodywork they're the place to be.

Bit of a sweeping statement. Just trying to help here and give you guys a heads up about a good offer. Sounds like you had a bad experience. Mine was different. End of.

Thats why I used the term "Russian Roulete", you could have five good experiences but the sixth visit....

Personally I like to go to places where the staff know me. I use a couple of Kwik-Fits where that is the case and they are good to me. I also use an independent who is good at sourcing winter tyres and offers tyre storage.

When I lived down south there was an independent in Camberley that people would travel a long way to use.

Adam I found a new set on Ebay for my GTS rears, £120 picked up, they are there if you look.

PZeros too!

Bloody ****, Matt, that's good. Best I could find on ebay is 276 each, inc VAT & P&P. Still a good price, though.

That is the size of a front tyre on stock OEM rims on a 4.2 GranTurismo. Trouble is very few 4.2 buyers did not upgrade to the 20" wheels and the 4.7 engined cars come with 20" wheels as standard.

Mine is 285/35 20s on the back and 245/35 20s on the pointy end. P-Zero rears are quite hard to come by - lots of places out of stock.

I know and the prices vary hugely. I am wondering about going to Michelin Super Sports next as they are one of the few other tyres you can get for both ends on the 20" wheels.
