Well the weather is finally good so I have started leaning on the PS2s a bit. My 4200 recently had its MOT so I am happy that the basics are fine but I have heard a few noises under cornering and decided to have a good look at my car's undercarriage.

Looking at the back of the car I noticed that the NS was different to the OS in that a small rod was attached to the lower wishbone end. Wondered what it was but I quick look at the eurospares website revealed that it was the level sensor for the xenons. Nothing earth shatteirng but interested me nevertheless.

Through the winter I thought about bailing out of my car into something mainstream. Glad I did not, glad I still have it and, still, surprised at how cheap they are. Happy motoring everyone :happy2:

bigbob - There should be one on the n/s front too! The rear one compensates for load and the front for attitude (not THAT kind of attitude GRRRR) under braking and acceleration. Setting them up is fun as I had to recently as they can seize solid as all the **** off the road gets thrown at them!

Had mine replaced by emblem as it was siezed. the new version is slightly different than the old one [improved]. If they remain siezed they will snap the sensor off

Should have thought to look on the front too. It is very exposed on the rear so I understand if it gets grumpy.
