Hi all. I bought the car of my dreams last weekend and will no doubt be looking for some advice on the foibles of Italian sports cars in due course.

I am now the proud owner of a 2012 GC Sport and am very much looking forward to the sun coming out so that I can hear the unfettered noise.

Nice choice. There are way more sunny days than you realise when you’ve purchased a cabrio....

Welcome - Great colour combination , my advice is to keep it on a trickle charger. Remember to add to our exclusive list of owners

Looks lovely, did you get the 'winter discount'?
Trickle charger during the week and a little blast around the block at the weekend. Keeps the fluids and running gear in fine fettle.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Here’s another picture I’ve got on the stocks. Will post more if ever it stops raining here in Bristol.

On the subject of which, can anyone recommend a Maserati specialist in or near Bristol?

Welcome to the fold, lovely car that. Bristol is quite a trek for a specialist. Migliore in Bromsgrove are your nearest.

Thanks very much. Sounds like a good excuse for a blast up the M5! Until it’s not working, and then I’m in trouble....

Rye brook bristol have a big service centre I think . Dick lovetts in Swindon too? Although they may be going with the dealership. Am sure others have better ideas

Although Dick Locett Swindon have lost their Maserati dealership they are still equipped and keen to look after Maserati. They just can't do warranted work on cars under 3 years old.
Spoke with Charles on Monday and as helpful as ever.
They usually discount for their valued customers bringing them on a par to some independents

Welcome - Just in the process of selling our spare house in Bristol and live just on the edge of the Cotswolds.

I use Matt's team https://www.sportsmaserati.com/adhandler/handler.php?id=1&url=http://www.sportsitalia.co.uk for the GS at the moment, and also Emblem in Poole (better than MD).

DL have just sacked Maserati and just have Ferrari, but should still be able to handle your GC.

Maybe meet you in the local area? would like to see if I could live with the GCs boot... it is a tad compact.

Boot is only small if you have four passengers and luggage. It’s fine for two, plus you can use the back seats.

To the OP - lovely car. Good model and colour choice. Enjoy!
