I think some of the comments are based on the particular one he is driving. Add the extra fine leather option on the interior and it does change the interior feeling. Of course you are going to have to pay for that.

The comment about buying new is absolutely spot on. I did look at it but it doesn't make financial sense unless someone else is paying for it or you have an independent income.

Servicing and fuel economy. You don't buy a Maserati with either in mind. If you did, you are definitely buying the wrong car.

I loved mine, and keep looking to see if I can find an affordable one to run as a daily as well as having the Cali. Maybe more reviews like this will help depress the value enough to make that a reality.

I don't think I'd have bought a diesel based on the one I looked at. And had the Cat N not been available, I'm not sure I'd have bought my S. But jolly glad I did :)

Looked up the meaning of "Cat N" and your UK "Cat x" qualification anyway.
I wish we had such a qualification system in Holland!
We know very little about possible damage historie, when buyin a used car.
There is no such registration of former damage whatsoever.
For those who are not able to detect body repairs, quite a risk.
Especially when one would buy quite complex or care demanding cars like ours.
