Jackpoint stands - same place for jacking and stand

Zep, you're a beautiful man and I love you. The challenge I have, though, is that the V12S has a big surfboard still which wraps about 6 inches underneath and completely covers that outer beam. The only accessible places with a cut-out are the annoyingly and unhelpfully small jacking points.

Ah! I will ask again :)

Ta. I'll try to take a picture tomorrow.

In parallel, I'm talking to Jackpoint about shipping. They're trying to coordinate with a few other UK-based potential buyers, which will bring shipping costs down from WTF! to Jaysus!, so we'll see how that goes.

Finally got round to getting my wheels off today. I'm hugely impressed with the Jackpoint Jackstands, which make jacking safely so much easier. It helps that the Vantage is so short and stiff - I jacked it up at the back and was able to get the stands under both ends and get both the front and rear wheels off. Wheels freshly washed, Iron-X'd and panel-wiped my next mission is to smuggle them into my man cave for a couple of coast of Swissvax Autobahn.

They look really neat, did you get an AM jacking point adaptor or are they just a flat top?

A flat top with a hockey puck. The guy that owns the company lives in the frozen mid-west where hockey's a way of life, and he was kind enough to chuck a couple in the box.

They're not cheap, but jacking the car up and then just lowering it on to the stand was so easy. Whilst I'm wary of the very small jacking area on the Vantage, especially at the rear, I've never been more confident of the stability of a jacked car.
