Is this a Stradale?

For my penny’s worth, I don’t agree with your dealer. Those that don’t “get” a Stradale haven’t driven one.

In terms of the differences, you know what they are, but to experience them is another thing. I watched a video of an MC Sportline and was irritated by the slowness of the gearshift from the auto box. The suspension is in essence the same between them, the CCM brakes are a world apart from the steel brakes and the noise in race is better (this is because, on a Sportline, the valves will only open at 3500, on a Strad in race, always open).

In the end it comes down to what suits you best. For high days and holidays, A road blasts and mountain passes, it’s the Strad. If it’s more as a daily, go for a auto.

Just for the record, when in sport AND manual mode, the later 2012+ MC auto box keeps the valves open all the time (not just 3,500rpm+)

Hi. so it looks like i got lucky and found a car in Rosso Magma. I've had a dealer source one and even he said he dropped lucky with a owner they contacted and agreed to sell. Not see it yet (next week), but ive secured it. It has been professionally stored in a prestige car service company. Has 3000 miles on it. Loads of Carbon. trying to figure out how much ££ the carbon options would cost (value of car). From what i can see from a few pictures it has, door sils, dashboard trim, instrument clusters, paddles, steering wheel, door handles, mirrors, front splitter, rear spoiler (bonnet standard on 2018 MC). Not sure if anyone knows what option packs these are and what the associated ££ add on would have been? It might have more, but i cant see from the pictures so far.

Nice, that colour is wonderful. Which suspension does it have? IIRC for the final facelift the Sport had skyhook and the MC had a fixed set up similar (or same?) to the Stradale but I think the factory would swap out if you asked.

That i dont yet know TBH. I have about 5 photos only and some limited details. Ive not yet seen it in the flesh as the dealership is waiting for it to be delivered from the storage company next week. Whichever set up it has im OK with as ive driven both types (fixed on strad and sky on sports) and the late MC models feel "stiffer" than my Sport did that i used to own (the one i drove 2 weeks ago did anyway). Quite excited to meet her.. :) What is IIRC? If the final MC had the fixed set up im guessing thats what it would have, but i thought they had Skyhook? Could be wrong and im sure others are betters equipped to answer. Thanks

If I recall correctly. Hope the weather is still great when you get it.

Hi again. You are indeed correct. Looked at some of the old sales brochures and the Skyhook was optional for the MC model, but came with the fixed set up as standard.

So there is my answer to the Rossi Magma question on the other thread. That colour cost the owner a pretty penny.
