It seems that the market is dictating the value of these cars at the moment and nothing is worth what we would expect it to be.
Dicky Grace has had to discount his car from an already givaway price and i have several "equiries" about my car at £21k that seem to all be tyre kickers.
One such was really really interested and has always wanted one..... then went out and bought an Audi TT...work that one out if you can.
The others will chat on the phone for hours and then you never hear anything from them again...
I have one offer from a chap who originally asked me if i would take £16k and when i said no.. he said "well bear me in mind anyway".
He contacted me the other day to ask if i had sold it yet..to which i replied..Buddy i would rather drive it off a bridge than sell it to you for £16k and should i wish to accept that sort of low offer then i would advertise it for £18k and i would have the phone ringing constantly.
Its had everything done to it now and the whines and brake squeels are all gone.It wants for nothing for thousands of miles. £21k or i will happily just keep it.
But its like everything ...its worth exactly what someone is willing to pay for it...or more importantly what you would be willing to accept for it!
