Is that a Trident I see before me?

You must have done a few miles already how do you rate her over previous rides ?

I think it's fabulous. It's doing over 35mpg on a run up to Leeds (not a good metric for a Maserati, I agree, but important)

It's comfortable when you want it to be, but it really will go and and get itself arrested if you bit a couple of buttons and press that pedal on the right.

Probably for GBH, honestly. I love the fact that it's rather psychotic, and it's my psycho :)

Seriously wondering if I can do my next upgrade to a Trofeo :)

OK, it is rough when cold. The brakes are binary and it's lumpy as **** until it's warmed up a bit (lot). Bit like Mrs C, TBH so I can live with that. Once it's all hot, I love it (Again, a bit like Mrs C)

Might want a set of plugs in her the car that is not Mrs C.

Might be. It feels like a combination of binary brakes, high RPM, cold transmission. I have no record of the plugs being changed (in fact no record of anything) so I might well have a think. Alignment first I feel, though

The QP VI tyres chatter on full lock, and I'm told 'they all do that sir' regardless of tyre choice - it does seem quite common.

Indeed. I'm not surprised. Most of my recent cars did it, this one is just 'worse'. It will be interesting to see if it improves when the P zeros go.

I start mine and let it run until the revs drop a bit and it comes off the air recirculation stage, or whatever it’s called. Never have any rough running on the move that way. Takes a couple of minutes or so depending how cold it is. Maybe try the same with Mrs. C.

20’s. When I bought it it had winter tyres on. It skipped terribly on those.

Same as mine then. I'll run the P Zeros until they are dead or scare me. Can't find my preferred all season on the right sizes as yet. Hopefully get some in spring, or PS4s I guess.

I'm not really worried about the chattering but it definitely more pronounced in terms of you can see the bonnet going up and down like a low rider :)

A few things:

the steering skipping when cold is vastly reduced on Pilot Sports compaRed to P Zeros.
to quieten the cold start, put it into drive as soon as it starts.

mine is sometimes lumpy, sometimes smooth, I’ve replaced the plugs and the vacuum solenoid, still lumpy when cold 60% of the time.

Cheers. The P-zeros have got to go, but I'm loathe to spend the cash right now.

Good choice - looks great. And, as others have said, way nicer than the competition. I saw a similar spec in a car park outside Peterborough the other week. Same colour - LM15 KVV
