Does anyone with the first generation MTC infotainment system use one of the newer iPod plugged into the cars USB. My old gen iPod was left on a train today (word of advice most rail network s use an online system call missingx for lost property. Having tried the system today for my lost items it seems like a load of utter garbage, so if you lose something don't hold out much hope. Ringing GWR and Southwestern rail customer service was an even more pointless exercise as they adopt a ' let's do everything we can NOT DO to help attitude'),so after my rant, as I was saying it looks as though I will need to get a new iPod and Road Angel Pure, also left on the train, and issues regarding device connection invariably seem to throw a spanner in the works.
If you can follow all of that, any information on the iPod compatibility would be much appreciated.
