Interior or Courtesy Lights Maserati 3200

When I open the car door, do not turn on the courtesy lights. On the other hand, if I press the light button directly, it will light

any ideas? Its a Maserati 3200

I have the opposite issue, the front courtesy light is on when I open the door but does not work if I press the switch, it has been checked twice by different electricians but nobody has managed to find out the issue... The rear courtesy lights work properly though.
