So far not a problem here in Oz. If it were, I would suggest taping them to the nearest tree/pole with.....

Yep, you guessed it - INSULATION TAPE...

Point 1
Whilst they're glued to the road we know where they are; just leave them there and ply them with lots of water and maybe a curry or two.

Point 2
They're not only barking, they've got the wrong tree. If they truly care about climate change they should look elsewhere:

Seems like your having all the fun in the UK, shame I'm missing it.

I see on the BBC you are going to have a shortage of toys at Christmas due to (choose for this list, Brexit, Lorry Drivers, French, Muppets in Charge, Protesters, C19, lack of containers and or ships etc. etc.), are there queues and fights outside Toymaster or Smyths yet?

I'm sure it's only a matter of time

These people must be a paid 'rent-a-mob' purely because they do not know the basic facts of what they are protesting about.
For years and years and years the government have been (via energy companies) providing free insulation, and probably 5 years ago you had to start making a contribution the cost (no more than 20% - still free if you were on benefits).

Now this pile of cash (and it was a big pile) has run out. Do these people expect the government to pay for everything?
You buy a home, you have to pay for its upkeep.
What they are asking is no different to asking the government to put new double glazing in their houses!

Leave them super glued to the roads. Pheasants, rabbits etc. all disappear eventually, treat them the same.

Completely agree!

Thread drift but the same as recent news on the removal of the £20 ‘extra’ Universal credit - uproar.

But people are quick to forget it wasn’t there pre-pandemic and was a temporary measure, yet somehow it is now a god given right and should be a permanent increase.

And yet job vacancies are at an all time high

These people are pretty much cut from the same cloth as Piers Corbyn (miraculously even more loopy than his brother Jezza) and Roger Hallam, the founder of XR, who incidentally went on record last week saying he'd have allowed that poor women who was in the ambulance to die for the good of IB's cause. Their religious zealot mindset and ideology is more important than anyone else's views. Truly despicable. They have every right to protest peacefully, but they do not have the right to interfere with anyone else's business or disrupt their livelihoods.

Surely manslaughter charges could be brought to them if that was the case? R Soles!
