Second place. My mate had an ‘88 Mitsubishi van, he did an emergency stop and the whole front end fell onto the floor must have been 200lb of filler!

First day off in a couple of weeks and not totally motivated plus bored with bodywork now.

Rear suspension bits are in USA, diff outputs are in the USA and although I’ve done a dry build on the engine and everything is now machined I didn’t get the crank balanced before lockdown so it’s just bodywork

good job, don't think you'll be getting any hairline cracking there somehow :thumb3:

I put a layer of fibreglass matt over the join too. It’ll all be a bit irrelevant the first time I put it backwards into the scenery!

That's it mate I'm itching all over again as bad as crawling around in the loft.

Played in the loft once when I was a kid. Never did that again!

Front hubs cleaned, old studs removed and holes enlarged and a radius machined, then new long ARP studs pressed in.

Had a play with the seat but will need to get the door on, I was hoping to go with two of these, they’re pretty narrow without going for the tiny Tillett type ones. Blimey these things are tiny inside.

Early finish today. So managed to get the last bit of fibreglass repair done. Fingers crossed, a weekend of work and it’ll be ready to paint the inside and primer the outside.

Very nice! Brings back a lot memories.... If we ever get over there, I do want to see you do some laps in her. I think you mentioned the rear trailing arms in a post. Are you using offset ones?
