If you haven't solved it by this weekend, I'll check mine for the size etc. of the pedal return spring. Did you have stainless pistons installed in the calipers? Could be they are a bit tight, and need breaking in. If you work the pedal and force it to return to top several times, check the system for air, as sticking pistons will suck air on return.

Dint think it can be anything to do with the hydraulics as it’s the same without the master cylinder.

There wasn’t a pedal return spring so that was the suggestion of the servo guys but it’s not made a difference fitting it.

The supplier of the servo has confirmed that they ones they’ve fitted return at that speed. So not really sure. It just doesn’t seem quite right but they are the only decent manufacturer by the sounds of things. So even with a refund I’d just be buying the same servo from a different vendor.

Are you happy with the brakes now mate ?
Looking nice though :)

Not having driven it not sure. But the supplier says they all return at the same rate so will have to see what is like driving wise.

The initial 1inch or so of travel doesn’t move the master cylinder and that’s the bit I think is slow to return.

Must be getting close to a roadtest now ;)

Out of curiosity, what would have happened if it hadn't fitted?

C

Id have kicked something really hard, child, dog, alpaca, what ever was closest ;)

Because I replaced about 1/2 the windscreen frame I had already checked it fitted prior to rollcage and painting in case something needed massaging.

The dry fit is more to get it’s position set and marked before putting glue on it. The frame is about 1” bigger than the screen so a far degree of latitude
