Hi All,

I bought my first 3200 back in June, and I think it's awesome. Having been a member of gtvv6.com back in the day, the 3200 is something I've always wanted.

After browsing the forum, I noticed that it appears to have been owned previously by two members;

- Johnny Graham
and before him
- nigw

I have a history file with the car, but any extra stories or info about the car would be appreciated :drinks:

Heres a piccy;

Thanks all

Hi, and a warm welcome. I was also a GTVV6 member, back in the day. If it was a nigw car it will have been well looked after, I almost bought his AC which he had after that. I think he move on to an Aston.

some more info for those interested....

It went into Emblem in Poole in July to investigate a lack of oomph. Result was;

- New intake plenum gasket to keep all that lovely boost in.
- New fan resistor - it was the original!
- Clutch adjustment + pedal bush

Emblem were fantastic - probably the best garage I've ever been to in terms of knowledge and service. Myles the Maserati mechanic was top notch. As an experience it was great. However, they are not cheap.... I left 1k lighter.

A week later the dash lights were dim and it wouldn't start.... rather than spend more money on a garage, I decided to try and resolve myself - after head scratching it was simply a loose power cable under the passenger side dash that needed tightening- phew.

I also decided to replace the starter motor myself (slow starting as was on the way out) - it took a couple of weekends, but it felt awesome when put back together and working!

Thanks Richard - I might take you up on that if I need anything :thumb3:

BTW - I think I emailed you a few months ago about a nice blue 3200 you had in stock. I had an SL500 to PX but it wasn't quite the right time for me at that point. Looked really nice.

Welcome and great to read your updates.

Yes Emblem are one of the best, but you do have to pay for the privilege.

Hope you are able to build up the history file.
