The problem occurs more with big heavy powerful cars. The XJL SuperSport I have with PZero's on is downright dangerous at less than maybe 8 degrees on anything more than 25% throttle.

That is 75% if the time in the UK. As soon as autumn comes this year they will be replaced with P4S's.

I guess an Exige depends on tyres less as they are smaller. When tyres are massive and don't work it is a massive problem. Especially when the car weighs twice as much!

Winter tyres are recommended for temperatures below +7C , so not surprising really.

I read somewhere where some insurance companies commented on this story that even though he was stupid he will still get a payout from insurance policy.

And guess who will pay for all this? Obviously other drivers by increased premiums
