Indicative, but I wouldnt hang your hat on it. Looking at GS's, the accuracy of the data is woeful.

Agree. There's a useful note on the website, http://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/about/, explaining the main source of error - "The most common error that crops up is vehicles that don't have exactly the correct model variant recorded on their V5 registration document" (pretty obvious if you look at the variants they have listed for Maserati Quattroporte, for example) . But since it's the DVLA data set it's the best we'll get across the board, the only better source would be individual clubs/manufacturers compiling it for their own.

As the npaskin says, the models are not right. Also, I did a FOI request when looking for a GS and got all sorts of random numbers for what cars were reg'd. While not millions of miles out, it was enough for me to think that the DVLA data isnt right.
