How to check options and spec

Hi all, I’ve searched both Google and the site but couldn’t find what I needed, therefore posting here for your collective experience.

I saw an options sticker on the passenger door sill and I’m trying to find a website which can interpret the codes so I can find out what was chosen by the original owner - does anyone have a link please?

There isn’t one. You can ask a dealer to give you a copy of the build sheet though. You might even get it.

Ah, glad it’s not just me and **** searching skills. There was a good site with the Porsche ones on there and thought there may be the same here.

Cheers for the steer, I’ll give them a shout.

They emailed back within a couple of hours!
Caught me on the hop as I don’t have the V5 in my name yet, will sit on it and shout them back later this week.

I’ve found this site to be useful in the past. Results vary by manufacturer in my experience:

Not sure it works for Maserati - it give a 2005 4.2 for my car, which is a 2012 4.7 - I have trolled the net for a good vin decoder but none of the ones I found worked for Maserati, certainly in terms of build spec. Some would get the year right, but that is not of much use.

Worth a try. It was brilliant for my Range Rover, not so good for my Bentley.

Happily confirm that the team got back to me pronto after confirming ownership. Interesting to see 19” wheels on the original spec list but 20” sat on my drive. Other than that, seems to be spot on.

Big thanks for the tip

We need a mod to put the contact details in a sticky - most owners like to have the information in file and it’s something Maserati do for free :D

You write it and I’ll stick it.
