Take the pads out. Clean the caliper area thoroughly with wire brush and then go over again with brush and brake cleaner.

Apply copper grease on the parts of the pad that make contact with the caliper (not the disc!!). Then reassemble.

Basic stuff but I spend a lot of time on this when i change my pads/discs on my cars to make sure they do not squeal

Sure I read in a maserati booklet how to bed the brakes in properly after changing... is it in the hand/service book?

Check this out for clutch and all brake discs from main dealer. Does anyone know where I can get the discs and clutch significantly cheaper? Clutch 93% worn759387593975940

Superformance for the brakes (550 Maranello) are just under 400GBP for the set, the clutch can be found on Eurospares for around 900GBP.

@Neil robinson where in the country are you based? Clutch flywheel bearings and labour by maserati specialist will be circa £3000-£3500

The parts associated with the clutch change are expensive and there are no cheap alternatives

No pads are perfect. I cannot believe they have the brass balls to charge what they do. I’ll be able to get the fluid and discs sorted myself and leave the rest of the work for when the car is in hibernation in the new year. Welcome to my wallet haemorrhaging!

Hi,
Just replacing my front pads and disc, as I've removed the caliper the brake pipe has split  corroded so bad, should these be rubber?

Pretty easy to make if you have the gear...The issues begin when you have to start undoing the fixings- if it's been left this long to rot through, it seems likely the rest is rusted solid.
All the more reason to invest in the modest amount of tools needed to make your own; it's likey you will remake more then the short section...? And in doing so, you can replace the nasty powder coated steel **** Maserrati used with cupronickel pipe that will not corrode....
Or you might try asking @Zep if he can get you some braided hoses. I believe he can source some fronts, designed for the brake kit- this would also replace your aging rubber sections with a single hose section to the caliper I believe....?

Hi guys,
Thanks zep for the offer, Ive managed to sort it, there's a guy on ebay who makes handmade brake lines bundy, tell you what really good quality! You just shape onsite.
Size to order would be 120mm m10 pitch 1.0.
