Just advised by a good friend.

It depends.
If its a Ministry of Defence standard issue lightbulb. You'll probably find we've sent them all to Ukraine.
In doing so, we've depleted our own stocks, cannot order small batches because the cost per item
would be several thousand pounds and the contracted lead time for the specified number of bulbs, is
twenty-four months.
If its a Ministry of Transport issue lightbulb and also comes under the purview of the Levelling Up Taskforce and is
therefore a top Number 10 priority. This type of bulb will probably be cancelled. When Parliament is on recess.
And no one is looking.
If its a Foreign Office issue lightbulb and it's technology is proprietary and subject to export controls and end user
certificates and issuance is subject to active security service monitoring. We will promptly hand it over to the Chinese
or the Russians. Or the Chinese and the Russians, who will reverse engineer it and sell it back to us for ten times the
original price. In the event there's an enquiry, the chaps responsible will be promoted to embassy positions abroad
and out of reach and Doris the tea lady will be convicted of espionage and sent down for a ten stretch.
Should any minister be forced to comment and misspeaks. The PM will appoint an ethics advisor to investigate.
Because nobody in the government has the least clue what ethics are. Wouldn't recognise an ethic, if one fell on them.

Halfords claim they will do it for £9.99, plus £18.99 for the bulb. (Although it might not work out in practice, I suppose.)
