How I fixed electrical gremlins..

I though this might be of interest here. My power windows stopped working, and I suspected after some reading that the fusebox is to blame.
The issue is that fuseboxes use so called foil PCB, which has the tendency to break apart over time. So, getting a replacement is not really a good option.

Fortunately company called Galilio Engineering has made a new internals for the fusebox:

Its not actually cheap, but it will resolve all those issues. My power windows started working again like magic!

Some pictures here: https://henris42.wordpress.com/2021/09/16/fuse-box-upgrade/

This upgrade should be good for Biturbos, Ghiblis and Shamal:s at least.

I wonder if this could be the answer to my electrical gremlin at the moment?

When you say not exactly cheap, what sort of figure are you looking at roughly? Couldn't see a price on the website.

I would message @Maurizio as he seems to be the originator of this product.

After discussions with @Maurizio (and excellent service) my BiturboBox was delivered on Friday last week and has now been dropped off to the garage to be installed, hopefully to banish the electrical issues I've been having.

Will update once installed and back.

@Maurizio my Ghibli is a 1996 model ABS, are these fuse boxes different/more reliable, and any plans to create a version for the later (post 1994) Biturbos in the future? Thanks.

Unfortunately I haven't studied the post 1994 fuse boxes. For the moment we don't have any plans to look into that.
We are developing the proper replacement for the Italamec fused relays, but I don't think they were used on the late cars either.

Finally got the car back on Thursday without any problems and also been on a long blast today in the sunshine, again without any issues (touch wood!).

Feedback from the garage on BiturboBox was also excellent, several systems sprang back into life, windows and roof work quicker, all in all an excellent product.

Grazie @Maurizio !
