Hood up or hood down

Over the winter I rarely use my Spyder, and it lives in the garage with the hood up. For most of the past 5 months though it's been in there with the hood down. My garage is weather tight, dry and heated, and the roof was put down when it was dry.
Am I doing any damage keeping the hood down for extended periods? Does it make any difference?

Agreed, up, the collapse state will cause marking/wear on the hood fabric and it cant breath so will probably attract mildew.

Both. Best to cycle the roof regularly. I do mine at least once a week through the Winter. Much like running the engine up to temp. keeping the roof mechanism moving can only help.
