Couple of questions here from a new guy as I’m interested in buying this 2010 GTS
First how come this one doesn’t have the alcantara seats, panels and steering wheel? Also the Maserati badge didn’t have red linings on them? And the wheels are different compared to most GTS out there that has the multispoke wheels? Is it because the original owner didn’t get those options or package? I still believe that this is a real GTS given the exhaust, window trim, red engine covers and interior badge are there any other ways to confirm? Also any common problems to look out for?
Here is the vehicle
Thank you guys

Looks like a real GTS to me. By this time, most had full leather instead of the alcantara trim that the earlier cars usually had. The wheels are correct also. A quick chassis number check with Maserati will confirm.

That’s what I thought thanks for the input
And is there anything else that I should be looking at in this particular model?

There were two types of wheels as an option. That's one of them. You could spec full leather instead of the alcantara. Seen others without the red lining on the badge. I've been to the factory and they seemed to put what every badge came to hand on the cars....See no reason to doubt it is a GTS....but as Ewan has said check with Maserati.

I like the idea of a GTS, but I don't like the black mouldings and even more the idea of a slushbox. Having said that if they get cheap enough might be a suitable stable mate for QP DS.

And being a bit anal I kind of like having a dry-sump engine so I can say 'yes, she has a dry sump, wet sump is soooo family hatchback....'

Snob!!

Drive one and you will change your mind. Auto box suits it and that noise. Best sounding best QP out there.

In a few years hopefully I will be able to pick up a 4.7 S QPV to keep with my manual 4200
