Hi chaps,

been lurking on here for a few weeks now. Am in the market for at GranTurismo or a Grancab and have been reading lots of the threads on here.

Very much looking forward to my first step into something slightly more exotic than I am used to.

I am sure will be asking some dumb questions over the next few weeks.

Welcome and don’t worry, there is no such thing as a dumb question. The quality of the answers may vary though!

Thanks Zep.

Have been having a good look round and test drove the Silver 14 plate at Lancaster in Colchester recently. Is in very nice condition at first look. A little more than I was initially looking to spend but man maths is well and truly kicking in.

Do you chaps think the car is a reasonable price?

Welcome Andy.

I would call Richard Grace for an honest chat about prices and cars.

I have used him three times and the service is far superior to Main Dealers.

Hi , I too would definitely recommend Richard Grace , I bought a Grandsport from Dickie last year and have no regrets , he sources the best cars at a fair price , and is incredibly knowledgeable about all things Maserati .

Hi, and Welcome... Might be timely... I'm toying with selling my GT.. Its a Sport Auto 2012 in Blu Oceano over Sabia. 41k miles.
FSH at Dick Lovett and detailed and coated with IGL Kenzo .. Not seriously thought about what it's worth yet ,.. but looking at the others around right now I would have thought it a good deal circa £34k

Ooohf, that is lovely.

Welcome Andy....the best move you'll make. Do look at the Strads though, well worth the extra money and dont seem to move much price wise.

A very warm welcome, Andy. You have a tremendously enjoyable hunt ahead if you, I have no doubt. I hope you enjoy it.

Blue Oceano is a lovely colour. I think @GeoffCapes's GTS (now @Lavazza's) is that colour and it looks stunning, especially in the sunshine.

It is indeed a very pretty car, and It's been great... completely pampered since I had it and was under the extended warranty for as long as it was possible.
Which was lucky as it had a new transmission in 09/17 (Maserati chose to replace it completely rather than go on a bug hunt to find an intermittent fault).. Cam covers done then too..
But right now, eldest son has nicked my daily and this is not getting driven enough..So I'm up for a deal if there are any takers ..

I'd have that in a heartbeat if the funds where there. Absolutely gorgeous.

Thanks for the warm welcome chaps. Just had a long chat with Mr Grace. Very very useful conversation. Some stuff to go and have a think about. Fangio, that is stunning. Something else to chuck into the mix.

Just a few more to tempt you then... a pic in it's usual habitat, under a nice fleecy cover (included) ...and some more ..

Welcome, the joy of knowing what you want and starting that search. There will be many on here who can be of assistance and a few have already suggest Dicky should be your first point of call.

Blue Maserati with light interior, they don't get much better than that.

Arrrgh too many choices. Was straying to a newer model with less miles, but @Fangio63 , that is just stunning. How long have you had it? As you say @zagatoes30 the blue with the light interior is near perfect.

On my flat drive there is a relief gap of 23.5 cm from the drive to the bottom edge of the registration plate of my QPV.
This matters because there is just enough clearance to get the car in my garage over a short but relevant incline. So the Q is what is the gap from the ground to the bottom of the registration plate on a GT? (please)

I bought in early Feb 2015 with 18,000 miles on the clock.. Heres a pic (wearing it's original plate) with the car it replaced (sold to a forum member) obviously it had not been cleaned since I picked it up - so the older one looks better...
