People I have a problem, daughter has just had her exhaust fall off the Aygo in The new location, have any of you northern folk got a mechanic or friendly garage that will fit a new one for a sensible fee?

I can’t help or recommend but I fitted one to the Ms’s I think it was £35 for the silencer. Failed in exactly the same way. There’s one clamp and two rubber hangers. It’s supper easy on the Aygo/108/C1.

The local tyre and exhaust place should be able to do it relatively cheaply.

When does it need doing.
Couple of places in Marske,
North eastern tyres and exhausts and car care.
Not open until Monday the, otherwise there is Kwik fit etc in Redcar

In that case Newton ring north eastern tyres and exhausts Monday.. always been okay but I’ve been gone 4 years.. I used to know the staff but they may have changed now..

It was bought for me by a client as a thanks for writing the UK standard for outdoor gyms PAS888


So Newt's gym really At the time I started writing it they were manufacturing in China so when we checked and 888 was available as a standard number we jumped at it (888 is considered very lucky indeed in China).
