1000 Miles a year, that's 1600km for you tea drinking types

Now this is going to get interesting.

Here, in Britain, we still use miles. Not Km (well we do use Km, but not when talking about cars)

it's all the other stupid measurements we got rid of, like cups, sticks and so on ;)

Anyone up for going back to pre-decimalisation?

G'Day Bruce!
Welcome to the gang.
Sorry for your recent loss. Been through the same here recently and its not easy.
However. I cannot imagine a more beautiful gift for a father to leave to his son.
And you're in the perfect location to enjoy such a car.

We may not have many ships left, with which to project hard power.
But, we can still project soft power of a sort, courtesy of Monty Python.
While we have our mutual enemies (the French) bent double laughing,
you chaps can kick 'em in the balls!

But, you really must do something about
what passes for your 'beer'. Just sayin'

Och, I know. But I just thought that the joke was too good to pass up :)

well, I laughed... I'm gonna have to use that one.

You're about 20 years behind the times. There's some really bloody excellent beer in the US now!

You sir are not wrong. Especially in San Diego, in the past 10 years, we had a huge boom in microbreweries, coming out with tons of great beer. A good friend and old roommate was a brewer for Mother Earth Brewery. I learned a lot about beer from him.

Another close friend was the director of IT for Stone Brewing. and between the two I found a love for West Coast Style IPA's, which are now their own classification of IPAs

yup sure am, and I like it! yeah the info is great,

called last Thursday and ordered FD 22/25mm spacers and a Larini Xpipe and a BMC filter. The car is at the wrap / detail shop getting full detail in and out, as well full polish and ceramic coating applied then the front half is getting ppf clear wrap installed, once its home ill install the spacers, xpipe and filter, then hopefully by end of this week the new tires will be in and I can have those mounted.

Welcome Bruce! Sorry to hear about the loss of your father.

Your car is a real beauty (one of my favourite colour combinations) and I hope you have much pleasure and enjoyment from it!

Hey everyone!!

So updates...

Dropped the car off 2 weeks ago, got the old partial clear bra off, and had the whole car polished and paint corrected. As well as a full interior detail.

Then they did a front-half-clear PPF.

Now the car is home, today I pulled the wheels off and cleaned them up and dropped them off for a new tire install. Installed 22/25mm spacers from FD front and rear and a BMC air filter. Later today I'm going to install the Larini X-pipe. I'll add some more photos later

And for those who like other toys, my 2007 Toyota Tundra 4x4 luxury Prerunner is in the same shop getting its old wrap removed and a new wrap installed.

Got the garage cleaned up and the car cleaning products sorted so I can keep the fleet looking nice!

And yes I know I have a problem hahaha

Nice. Seems you must have all the PS4S over there. No 255's anywhere over here although 295 are available.

I ordered them through tire rack and they were at my house like 3 days later.

Doesn't seem to be an issue here at all.

Stunning Bruce! Congratulations- really great work on your car!

Interested whether you thought the new air filter made any discernible difference - she must be breathing better for sure!

well got a little hung up on the xpipe install, got the tray dropped and the old resonator out, and having a bugger of a time getting the new one on.. its an angles issue, may need to loosen up the rear section of the exhaust more to get it to go back together. It got to hot so I quit ill finish it up tomorrow and post pics.
As far as the intake we shall see. Ill report back on it once I have more info!

So got the xpipe installed yesterday.....

Pro tip use ratchet straps to pull the parts together... it really helped!
