G'day all.

Long time reader of these forums. Have held off joining until I actually owned a Maserati and that day looks to have finally came.

Look forward to learning as much as I can from the informed members here.

About to take delivery of a 2008 Argento Luna Grantursimo.

Ever since I was a child, I have dreamed of owning a Maserati. Dream is probably an understatement.

I'm expecting to be very emotional when I exchange.

Does that sound stupid given it's just a car? Probably. But to me it's been more than that. It's a treasured goal after years of toil and struggle.

I notice there's a few Aussies here and several Granturismo owners from the UK.

Look forward to interacting with you all :)

Classico.

Hi Classico,

Welcome to the membership side of the forum. Where are you based?
If the east coast, then we might have a reason to give your new pride and joy a run.
AutoItalia is held here in Canberra on 29th March. Here's the link http://www.autoitaliacanberra.com/
Over 300 Italian cars, last year about 40 Maseratis.
Hope you can join us there,
Regards,
Bruce

Thanks all and BL330 - Def will try and get to Canberra.

May even bring the whole family down from Sydney.

Used to own a few Alfas. This is a big step for me personally. So happy.

Decided to snap a photo from the Great Southern Land.

Maserati meets Sydney in Australia.

Lovely day for it.

Was admiring that front end myself. Thinking do I like that better than my GS. Hmmm hard choice. I may try one for size one day. Lovely car and welcome. My first drive was full of smiles and emotion even tho I was stuck on the m25 for over an hour

Welcome Classico,
Bottom of Blues Point Road!! Gorgeous spot (my aussie house is just around the bay at Wollstonecraft). I'm sure you will never stop smiling every time you look at your GT. I certainly haven't.
