There is a small plate in the boot but he took it off as its £100 fine for the small plate or £50 for not having one....go figure?

Small plate seen as a deliberate act, no plate could have fallen off.

I have the full plate these days but ran with none for a year without issue. I agree that a small plate just looks like knowingly flouting the law where a missing plate is debatable.

Yes, it was a mixed day TBH. You have your new plaything but also to loose something you have cherished so much was hard.

On the plus side, John is local and I suspect attend an event or two so I should get to see here now and again
