top tips from mr Senna. The throttle stabbing on exit looks like a fun thing to try. On a track day!
Noticed that revs only dip briefly below 6000 rpm  and uses all the rev range

Apart from the 1000-6000 bit? ;)

I'm never quite sure whether Peak drivers are courageous or just lunatics, especially when it was on the loose. As it's Christmas, a bit of nostalgia for the older folk here:

Considering Ari Vatanen nearly died after a huge accident on the Tour De Corse 5 years before he did this, I am going to go with lunatic!

Certainly wired differently, in the old RAC days (pre pace notes) Kielder Forest blind corner in the pitch black - full attack madness but awesome to watch although you have to feel for the poor co-driver who just has to sit there with no control

"If in doubt flat out" as McRae used to say.

I did Pikes Peak once (1998 think ) in some gutless Japanese hire car. Drove 16 miles to the top (half tarmac, half gravel ) Has the highest car park in the world at c.14320 ft and a cafe if you want a brew. Also has the worlds highest concentration of lightening poles. Wouldn't want to be around in a storm!
