Heater/air con fan not working

Hi all, when I got into my 2007 executive GT this morning I noticed the air con fan isn't working even though there is nothing wrong with the display on the HVAC panel. In fact every other feature is working just have no fan motor. After leaving the car all day at work it then worked again on the way home.
I then left the car for an hour and now it doesn't work again.
Would anyone happen to know the most probable cause of this?
A helpful chap on FB has said that it's common for the fan connector to overheat and fail but I can't seem to find this connector, any help would be much appreciated

Not under the glove box like the GT?

No idea, but the glovebox will need to come out as a start right?

Hmm thinking about it, I'm remembering the 4200 which doesn't but probably doesn't apply. So I'll go back to the pub.

Problem was similar to yours, just stopped working one (hot!) day. As metioned in the post the connector was tarnished and after a good cleanup it's been working fine ever since.

Thanks very much for all your help, my problem turned out to be exactly that tarnished connections on the motor connector, quick spray with contact cleaner and all was well.
And yes it happened on the hottest day of the year.

Quick update on this, the problem came back and although just a wiggle sorts it on closer inspection I can now see that the connector has got hot and melted around the large black wire hence the intermittent connection.
I did hear of someone changing the connector somewhere but can't recall where I read it.
Has anyone changed this at all?
