Heated seats

First new post on here so forgive me if a silly question. Recently purchased a Granturismo 4.7s auto and took it out for third drive since purchase. Put aircon on and noticed heated seat came on automatically despite control being set to zero. Is this normal?
I've not read the manual..

That doesn't happen with mine......I have to manually set the heated seats via the button on the seat itself.

Had the same issue with a previous car...seemed to link ambient air temp a seat heating...but also did the same if you pit the AC to minimum??

Mine only work independently of the aircon but maybe it says something otherwise in the manual so rather than me checking it for you, I will leave that to you!

09 US manual:

Heating system
Heating is activated by turning
control
D
. Two heating pads are used
to heat the seat. When this function
is active for one or more seats, the
relative warning light illuminates on
the display.
Using control
D
, heating can be
adjusted to 3 different levels.
When the heating system is activated,
the relative function will appear on
the instrument panel display.

So it reads like it shouldn't be linked to the aircon.
