OK so in putting my car to bed for the winter and throwing over its nice new cover I managed to catch an edge on the headlight washer cover - it has just come unclipped as opposed to broken. And as the unit itself inside its hidey hole is arranged to swivel and 'give' there's no way to push it back so that the two clips engage the unit. I eventually came to the conclusion that the only way to do this was to operate the headlights, operate the windscreen wash and then kill the power as the washer extends..................... many times of repeating this and I have yet to succeed in catching the bugger when it pops out! its a bit like an old cuckoo clock the way it pops out and scurries back! Any ideas to force it to stay out would be welcomed! (I'm running out of patience AND washer fluid!)
