I had no idea they were NLA! I did look at them, but mine were salvagable. I used 5000 grit sand paper to take off the oxidation. If the rubber is hard then apparently Wintergreen oil 3:1 with Isopropyl Alcohol + hot (not boiling water) is a good way to soften rubber, there are a few videos on Youtube. I used Gyeon Trim to bring protect them in the long term.
Another thing to know, is the gaskets were fitted using double-sided tape which perishes. just replacing the tape so that the gasket is fixed in the right place may help. I used a Citrus cleaner to de-goop all the parts since it isn't aggressive enough to damage the plastics.
