Headlamp adjustment for driving in Europe

I have a QP5 Sports GTS and I cannot find anything in the manual about adjusting the headlamps when travelling to Europe. Do the Xenons needs adjusting for driving on the right in Europe?

Yes tried that - but they were so rude and some nonce on a motorbike, a square hat fined me 200 euros and shouted a lot :)

Just roll down though France at 120 on main beam, that sorts out those peasants..
Carful though with the Carabinieri or the Garda Civil on the bikes, as if you don't stop they'll shoot!

Told by GrayPaul Nottingham that I needed to stick those horrible beam deflectors to my GTS which has adaptive lights.

Yuck! Tell them to bugger off.

I used to have a Merc with a 'driving in foreign places' setting, which swiveled the lights to where they needed to be. Clever idea, that. Other than that I've never bothered.

In the numerous times I've driven abroad I never bothered with the deflectors.

Leave em in the car and if questions just give it "oh sh*t I forgot to put them on when we were on the ferry".
Not that anyone will ask.

Sometimes French police hover around the port if you arrive at dusk. Probably get worse post Brexit

Xenon are flat beam projectors, never had any trouble with them. Have a roll of insulting tape for lesser vehicles with Halogens etc. I wonder if painting the lense yellow will get them to assume you are a local and leave you alone?

When growing up, a neighbour used to leave the yellow on his lights all year round, I’d never seen them and asked my dad “It’s so everyone knows he has had a foreign holiday lad” was his reply; satisfied my curiosity.

I agree, never bothered with them on foreign excursions. To prove it, point your car at a wall and see that the lights are flat and don't kick up on the left. I have seen the result of leaving light deflectors on too long and they glue melting itself to the headlight cover...nasty mess

Probably true as well!
