Head light washer hose on Gransport

View attachment 41757Just traced the leak of water to this hose connector which seems to be situated behind the air box. My question is can the air box be removed without major works i.e. Bumper off. Thanks Stephen

Sorry but bumper off to remove the air box if you intend to reuse it, alternatively cut the spout off it and rip it out of the wheel arch and put a K&N in there (see other thread). To be honest though to do what you want to do just take the headlight out as it will give you adequate access.

I managed it with my pork sausage fingers; it is fiddly getting onto the three 10mm nuts and bolts but not too much trouble.

Thanks Newton it appears that the stem on the headlight washer has broken off, looks like a new washer unit from Graypaul. Can that be accessed with the headlight out?

I'd say yes, the headlights leave a flipping big hole when they are out!

Plenty of masking tape on the bumper to prevent scratches and put something soft on the floor in case it slips out, they are slippery!

Just been told by Graypaul there is no stock available globally so I'll have to source a second hand one, no idea where from.

Just an update to this, I have acquired a new pump from Graypaul NOTTINGHAM, £137 inc VAT. Apparently there are now 4 available in Italy so anyone that needs one get in there. I took the headlamp out, loads of room for the swap, jobs a good 'un, thanks for all your inputs.
