Just put Falkens on a Boxster we have as Porsche approved Bridgestones were twicw the price.

Verdict........a bit more compliant having slightly softer sidewalls,.................very good in the dry...................no noticeable difference in wet until you push hard.

Quite surprised really.

Not bad at all really, no more noisy than the Bridgestones plus they have been on for nearly 5k miles and they seem to be wearing quite well which is another surprise.

Noticed they do a full set of 245 x 35 and 285 x 30 x 20 for the QP. they come out at about £135 each which is well under half price. Makes you think eh?

Apart from Clarkeson trashing other peoples rubber and us all having the odd moment of fury most of the time I'm jogging along briskly but as you say probably no more than 6 or 7/10.

Even my last trip in Italy a couple of weeks ago I kept it below 120 and I still had tread on my rears when I got back, which was nice, not like the time before when I pasted it at over 160 for about 40 miles or so on clear unoccupied autostrada and arrived back in the UK with slicks.

Have Falkens on the M3...They are pretty good to be honest and as you say lots cheaper then the ones BMW want you to put on...
