Anyone knows if it is possible to sell used clutch for some refurbishment maybe.
Clutch is not bad, 0,5 mm worn out, not overheated,...
Would be great to get back some money for new clutch :)

I would suggest eBay. There is going to be someone who can do the work themselves who would be happy to use it. It does seem a shame to waste a perfectly good part.

Let's be realistic here a c £30k + car and people would scrimp on a part like that (second hand) given labour would make up 70% of the bill.

Agreed, but it takes all sorts. It will also fit a £10k QPV so there that would make the economics a but more palatable. I doubt anyone on here would do it, others might.

I think that buying a second hand clutch, to use it in your car really does not make sense.
But I saw some threads talking about refurbishment, and thought that people who would like to try some reburbishment, would actually buy used clutch.
I'll put it on ebay and see what happens.

How much would you reckon it is worth - I don't have any idea :)

Potentially a dealer who got caught out on a car at auction where all Labour is “in house” so to speak might go for it, but the. Again why not fit a new one and add value to the car.

Yes, this would be its likely avenue.

It was replaced, because car has started not to go gear up from time to time. -very annoying when overtaking someone.
It is a car I have just bought 2 months ago, and where previous owner told me clutch has to be replaced.
Car has done 84.000 km with first clutch and as some symptoms occur, I was sure it has to be replaced, so I ordered it and replaced it.
Also I tend to keep the car, so have it with new clutch is much better then with old one - also gear changes are much mich better now.
When the clutch was taken out of the car also the mechanic was suprised how good it is and that it is just 0,5 mm worn - this is the value of the outer clutch plate, the inner one is very hard to measure.
So obviously the previous owner did drive very very carefully.
It was a theoretical question if it's possible to seel it for someone or some comapy that is refurbising them.
I also have a F1 sensor which was working 100% fine, but we replaced it with the clutch due to to much work if we need to replace it later.
If someone is intersted I can deffinitely load some pictures.

If there was a fault which was cured by the clutch change, then there isn’t going to be a lot of value in it. I think 0.5mm wear for 84k km is quite unlikely to be honest. What was the wear reading on an SD3 before it was removed?

I understand that the only company in the U.K. that reworked clutches were MD, but they would not do CC or F1 clutches, only manual gearboxes.

Ha! 90% of used car dealers would do that in a heartbeat. It's just about margin.

I really don't know what was an SD3 reading before removal, mechanic said when he measured it after removal it is just 0,5 mm worn - I haven't measure it myself.
Regarding to other things on the car, previous owner must have driven it very gently as car is in a really good condition.
As I already said, I would deffinitely not recommend anyone to fit it to the car, it could be appropriate for refurbishment.
I just wanted to know if anybody has sell some used and for how much it could go.

I think you'll find MD Clutches decided to call it a day and close their doors due to ongoing illness and such..!

Yup it's true. I had to order a new clutch as I originally planned to reline it through them

I would also sell sensor for the clutch, if anyone is interested - working perfectly when taken out of a car:
