i love my GTS more every time i use it, for my £31,800 purchase price i really doubt there would be anything else near as special/exclusive/modern that you could buy

i would still like a better colour though, never been a fan of black cars, mainly because i clean it and it looks dirty an hour later!

Blimey. £31k!!! Mine was more than twice the price of yours...

That is some bargain you got!

I think the age and mileage / spec will be somewhat different!
But it does look great for that money as long as no big mechanical items needed changing..

Yes. But to the average Joe they probably look no different. You got yourself a real bargain.

Good job.

Agree totally.

Thats the thing with these cars. To most people an 85,000 mile GT of the same colour will look the same as a brand new GTS / (Stradale - if said individual is the average woman).

27,000 vs 100+

GT and GTS are very distinguishable to even the untrained eye imo but don't get me wrong the GT still looks amazing, I just had to have the side skirts and the F1 box hence stretching to the GTS MC.

If I didn't have to sort out my excess I'd have the facelift wheel to thicken it up a bit but my large hands would really not work with that custom wheel!

Agree mate on both points - it could be tight in front of the paddles - the facelift one is much more balanced TBH.
There is no doubt that the GTS and GT are very different to someone who knows about cars. Even guys I have spoken to cant spot the difference though - that is annoying.
They have driven 218i and Audi A3s to be honest so they are not petrol heads!

I'm sure there is an advert for it on the forum...

i would of had it, but I'm trying to keep my car 'cheap(ish)' lol

IMHo - its probably the cheapest significant interior 'mod' - massively changes the interior. The old wheel and new one are chalk and cheese

No one in Uk does carbon - on a wheel, to my knowledge. I called around 50 places.

Even a full alcantara retrim to make it looks like a facelift wheels is 550-600 plus you cant sell the old wheel.

Some European places do the carbon wheels for around 1600 pounds - but they aren't as nice. the US ones kicks *** but its 1700 ish.

If I sold my facelift wheel for say 700 (which I think is a very good deal considering they are circa 2k from maserati, one could sell their old wheel for 300 ish.

So for a 400 upgrade you are looking at a facelift wheel. No brainer in my opinion - some on here spend 250 detailing their car..

Iain - I really like the look of the facelift wheel, but I just went and took a pic of my current wheel, and at first glance it looks pretty similar...

Does this mean I've got a different wheel to the standard one, or are the changes more noticeable in real life..?

Ziggy design - He did my alcantara... I can vouch for his work. ( but you cant keep the old wheel or sell it to offset. I still think the stock facelift one looks better.
I was desperate for the carbon though..
