GTS bonnet wouldn’t open

It’s a fail save if the normal one breaks. On the 4200 it’s above the original one one....not a lot of people know that.

Do you mean it’s a backup essentially if the footwell bonnet release fails?

As mentioned me bonnet release works fine, just then stops after that !

EDIT: Local garage I use will get a look at some point soon, will fit it in around my work travels.

And he washes it again today and the boot left side strut breaks FFS.

Just broken at the little ball type joint at the top where it attaches to the boot (inserts eyes rolling smiley)

Jeez Ryan that is two, one more to go

Couldn’t believe it, lifted boot and it went further back than normal.

Left strut at the top cracked open.

I must have upset the strut gods this week that’s all I can think !
