I’ve just spent 3 hours a day for the last 3 days applying Crystal Serum Light and two coats of ExoV3 to my DB9. If you take your time, it is a very satisfying process and not as difficult to do as I had feared. The Crystal Serum Light is the more difficult coat to apply as it is thinner and more difficult to see where you have been or more importantly where you have not. The ExoV3 is easy to apply but crucial you get all the excess off or it’s tough to polish it out once it has cured. You need very good lighting to do the job well. I had feared that the depth of shine would be so:so, but I am hugely impressed with the depth and sharpeness of reflected images. Now I’ve done one I shall be doing the other cars over the next few weeks.

That’s looks great, it must be very satisfying standing back and admiring your work. Did you spend a lot of time polishing it beforehand?

I just spent a few hours doing the G60 with a new DA , 3M cutting compound then a coat of Meguiars high gloss polish.

Results are fantastic.

That is a truly remarkable finish and so rewarding for all the hours you put in. The GTechniq is superb and crystal serum is very long-lasting. Water will literally bead off and run off the bodywork like off the proverbial duck's back. Excelkent achievement with your effort.

It had been pretty well polished before I bought it in December, so I only had a few light marks that I needed to remove

A beautiful car made more so! Did you treat the alloys to a layer of protection?

Yes, used Gtechniq Wheel Armour on them the previous weekend

To be fair Giggsy provided one of my most enjoyable football moments ever when he scored 'that goal' against Arsenal.
I was in a pub in London after work watching the game, and was watching it with 4 Arsenal fans.
I bet them all £20 that Man U would win after Roy Keane got sent off. I had a result as I said I pay you £5 each you pay me £20 each as that's the bet. For some reason they all agreed.
Then I said double it when the penalty was given. So they did! Worst case was I lose £40 but could make £160.
The joy when Bergkamp missed that penalty was only half the joy when Giggsy skipped past most of the Arsenal team to score.

What a night!!!!
