You tried a Renault 4 yet here in France ?
That will sharpen you up ;)
I had a Citroen Mehari as a hire car in Corfu once. I think that was 2CV based and had the gear-lever sprouting out of the dashboard and felt like a bag of spanner’s. Does that count?

Unless it’s pouring with rain, I fully intend to bring it along so you can see and hear it in the flesh. It really does get all your senses tingling.

My daily driver is a Cayenne Turbo where I’m used to being cosseted and looking down on most traffic. In the 40, every bump in the road is felt through the rose jointed rock hard suspension and you look up to drivers in their MX5’s! It really is a strange and full on experience on familiar roads that seem very different when driving it. See u all at the end of May.
