Yep. Rings bells with me also. I remember them using a very similarly angled and positioned shot, when advertising a car I looked at, maybe two years ago.
I think I did some online due diligence and same as Nibby, discovered multiple business names and some other dodgy stuff. Directors struck off maybe.
Just read through the reviews on Autotrader. I saw a few with the same spelling mistake, very similar phrases used. Might be my overly cynical mind, but I'd
bet money that one person has written most of these reviews. The same themes come up in almost all. If you compare these with a thread here (not a great comparison
I'll grant you) we tend to use very different words and phrases for similar things. Its a product of our upbringing, schooling, friends, employers.....etc etc
Can't recall exactly, what put me off two years ago. Was enough to encourage me to beat feet in t'other direction :)
Bottom line. What kind of business changes it's name. There are legitimate reasons. But there are less positive reasons also.
Plus, they're Welsh. That's one strike out of three, right there ;)

Thanks. I think you’re probably right. Not about the Welsh bit though. Lovely people....apart from when we’re playing them at rugby...

I know nothing of this garage, but surely that’s the cheapest sensible mileage GT-S MC Shift (with some MC Sport carbon extras) yet offered by a dealer. If you are local and in the market you’ve nothing to lose by taking a look. I dare you!

Hi all,

I’ve been away from all things Maserati for too long ! This caught my eye as it’s relatively local. The dealer doesn’t get great reviews however. Does anyone have any intelligence on this car or the dealer (Cardiff based) ?

Thanks

Hi Ian, how the devil are you. Been a while.....

Yes that is the same dealer that was on Rogue traders. Not sure if it's the chap running it. Not far from me.

Blimey Ian, it had been a while, we first met in your QP at Llandow. And you won the free mot at Lovetts iirc...
Can't shed any light on the car or dealer but looks 5k undervalued IMHO.

Been speaking with Dicky Grace this evening. I think I have a 'Plan B'.....;)
It would still be great to catch up though. I will PM you some dates.

Sensible approach Ian. It's a bit of a mine field buying these cars so Dicky is a great place to start. Two currently for sale that tickles my fancy a lovely bright red 2008 on AT at 32k and the white one Dicky has which seems fully loaded.

Ah Ian from Gordano Portishead I remember you didn't you have a nice 500 Abarth too ?
I did indeed mate. A 595 Turismo. Sadly, also no longer with me...
I’ve had a BMW 650 sport convertible for the last few years....but the Maser calling is getting hard to resist.....
It would be good to see you boys again !
