GT Door issue

I have Krishna's 2009 GTS here thats been in for paint.

The battery was flat and both windows would not drop nor would the electronic release on the door handles. You had to use the larger button to manually click the doors open.

So after a full recharge and a battery reset, both windows are now dropping and the drivers door electronic release works but the passenger door does not. Ive tried it loads of time but still no.

The door cards were taken off to have new check straps fitted so it is possible they missed something putting it back together.

Any tips or tricks to try before I have to pull the door card?

1) Connect the battery and then go and do something else for 20 mins. This allows the heater mix valve to calibrate.
2) Switch the ignition on (engine off) and wait for the throttle body to calibrate (you can hear it clicking) and for the heater flaps to stop moving (depends on the model). 1-2 mins is enough for this step.
3) Start the engine and let it idle for a while - this starts the fuel trim adaption and variator learning.
4) Whilst the engine is running the bits like windows, radio code, clock, seats, etc can be sorted. I would also check the EPB if fitted.
5) Switch engine off and lock/unlock to make sure all is working well and that the door handles are working (later cars).

Also just winding the window up and down might make it buck its ideas up?

<edit>

Sorry mis read. It's the button that's not working. Step 5 worked for me before

I think I had this once and solved it by locking then unlocking via the key fob, and by the door lock.

On the front passenger door mine started working again after a few weeks, but then gave up the ghost and had to have a new handle fitted. Drivers side now in remission period so probably only a matter of time before a new handle is required there as well

I guess you have tried the reset you did on mine? It’s been fine since...

I did yes. I feel it will fix itself or the paintshop has jiggered it taking the door card off. I suppose they took the door handles off too to paint it, hum.....

It was the paint fitter who forgot to connect the multi plug. Door card off in the cold but it’s fixed and happy Krishna went on his way.
