Hello all

Having unsuccessfully attempted to find a 4200 manual. I’ve now been seduced by the GranTurismo. Ideally something like this (4.7 / ZF box). My questions are…does anyone know this car? I understand there are an increase in variator issues from 2009, I guess I’d have to look at the engine number? Any thoughts I this?

A 3K service by a renowned Specialist and new Michelin tyres I'd say give Vic and Bob a call to get their thoughts.
A lot of car for the money but you still need to keep a War Chest for future maintenance.

Pictures are old judging by the trees. But it looks nice on the face of it.

It is not a Sport as that came out 2.5 years later but still a nice looking GTS Auto (like mine!) with low miles but lots of owners. When you are buying any 15 year old car, anything can happen so the usual checks before you commit. Price is not unreasonable IMHO.

Looks great on the face of it. Get a PPI done so it doesn’t throw big bills at you immediately.
Fantastic value for a low mileage 4.7.

I spoke to the seller. Seemed right enough. The service mentioned was last year i think. Also as above the pics are from the past.
Anyway I ended up with a nice 4.2.
I did look at a different 4.7,similar to above but it was tatty
