That is the one. That is very cost effective. Depends on condition I guess. I think these were £2k GBP new. Mine was £1k and in mint as new condition.

I had one. Loved it. ISTR I paid enough for it that I didn't tell Mrs C how much I paid for it....

There's a crew out of Singapore who offer an "exchange', with a carbon option. Not asked how much yet. Think they will flatten the base too....

As above, is this possible and is anyone aware of this being done?

The GS hard-back items do strike me as a much more supportive (and stylish IMO) design. Would never find them in the correct matching colour I expect, so would be a case of buying used and then re-trimming.

No idea how much effort it needs to be done, but i would love to have a spare set of 4200 seats if you replace them. Just pm.

I happen to know the gent selling the wheel, I bought the hard to find CF knob from him. He had bought the wheel and knob new from the dealer back in the days. I was able to convince him to sell me just the knob since I already had a CF GS wheel. And just like C man, I didn't tell the Mrs. what I paid for it.

As far as my CF GS wheel, I happen to come across a blue one and convinced the seller to sell it to me at a reduced price because he would have a hard time finding a buyer because of the color. I ended it dying black and it came out great! Now if I could find some CF side inserts, I will be set!

An MC-Victory owner would have valued that steering wheel in blue far higher I am sure.

Does look like it's been fitted.

I am actually the owner of the wheel--just to clarify it HAS been "fitted" just NOT on a car! It was part of the original "customization" display boards dealers had when these cars were new in order to showcase the various options/combinations available for order. This wheel was mounted on display at the dealership in New Jersey (who later sold it to me). It is a brand new, never been used piece in perfect condition. I will gladly ship to the UK , and can make anyone who is interested a VERY good deal. $550 converts roughly to £425, I think that qualifies as a steal!

Hi - very kind of you to post this. Not one for me but I'd be surprised if this hung around long.
I'd had a rough guess at shipping & insurance values plus with import duty & VAT on top it will work out nearer £600-650 ish.
Either way you look at it I would agree it's great value. GLWS.

You are very welcome gentlemen...no problem at all! Selling for a lot less than I paid---really just interested in finding it an "appreciative" new home. Bought it (along with lots of other parts) just to save for the future, but sadly my car is no longer with me so decided to sell everything. Merry Christmas!
