I wonder if anyone would ever put that on the track or if it will simply move from once collection to another.

I suspect all the value is in the fact it’s unused... But it would be fantastic fun to use it as it was intended...

I also love the look of it, and want to try and recreate this as my LeMans sticker / decal set

Surely it would still worth substantial amount even with a few miles just bc it is so rare. I would have it over any other car worth 80k but unaffordable currently.

Naw, it's a bit too old now I think and Stuart's Trofeo road car Pi$$es all over it in the cool stakes for me.

How about @conaero does the right thing and donates his car to his loyal forum members and customers and we can convert that to compete with Stuart?

Sad as it sounds, I think a car like that really ought to be in a museum, shame that Maserati doesn't have a place like Ferrari and Alfa Romeo.

It would surely be worth a bit more with a few battles scars and race patina? If not in financial terms but certainly emotionally - that's what I tell myself when my door doesn't quite close, my exhaust tail pipes refuse to both hang in the same direction and my bonnet panel gaps are strangely square in three corners & not the fourth? It's all a part of the car living a life!

There are quite a few of them up for sale at the same time right now. Blue one in Italy - famous for its YouTube vids - this one, a pink one in France. Sure there was another one around too, though it may have sold last year (yellow/red).

Drilled discs are more of a styling thing nowadays hence you don’t see them on race cars.
