How many times have we heard the end of production of the Granturismo is upon us though? Nice paintwork however

I wouldnt want to try and colour polish the nose and the fade out into matt. Be a nightmare and don't you have to use different products on matt paint?

There's a reason why you don't see 3 coloured fade paint jobs on cars. Not even the hot rod guys do it.

The marketing team are now scraping the barrel of new ideas to sell a car that is now 12 years in production. To put that into perspective, Lambo would sell you a Gallardo and Ferrari an F430 waaayyyy back on 07.

I love them but come on.

I’ve just been a little sick in my mouth.
If that Is the future they’re in bigger trouble than we think.

It does look terrible (although it's getting quite a lot of love on the GT owners Face Book page).

However, if they are going to start producing something else in Modena for the middle of next year, they are going to have to stop production soon to re-tool. That would tie in with what we were told in September.

Ouch! It hurts my eyes whenever I look at it.

I guess that fits in with where Maserati are taking the brand with their "lifestyle" brand image... Just look at their instagram page, says it all really.

When I was a kid, my mate had two Triumph Herald convertibles. He popped in a Vitesse engine, cut them in half and welded them together. Front brown and rear white. He left it like that.

Perhaps it’s a yoof thing?

Sounds about right. In fact, I think that's more or less how they came from the factory.

That transverse rear leaf spring was perilous if you came off the gas mid corner, do you remember?
