Yes easily hear the pops & crackle inside, even with the windows closed. Mine is an GT-S MC-Shift though.

Just had a listen post fitment. 4.7 engine with the Autoshield X pipe and standard back boxes with valves open. Bit louder and more “rorty” at all RPM IMO. I did a short 10s video off my phone with the sound but its 19MB and too big to attach. Sorry!

I suspect there might be a slight difference in sound with or without an X-pipe anyhow compared with an F1 engine (MC-Shift) as the two 4.7 engines are timed differently. It is my understanding that the main differences are:

Inlet cams
Variators
Front casing
Harmonic balancer
Aux belt
Bellhousing studs
Plus a few other minor bits.
